I'm really sorry that you had to go through that and still have to relive this pain with your mom. Families are incredibly difficult in this situation from my experience. It doesn't make sense to me how they could refuse to take our sides. I've learned forgiveness but for some reason I still struggle with the family members who didn't outright take my side more than the person who actually harmed me. I relate to what you said completely.
